Nepenthes 'Bill Bailey'
Nepenthes ‘Bill Bailey’ is a beautiful tropical pitcher plant named after the famous British comedian whose done a great deal for conservation of endangered species worldwide. This is a vigorous variety that produces beautiful, purple pitchers. It can be grown in a wide variety of conditions and succeeds in home settings including sunny windowsills and terrariums.
This is a cross between Nepenthes singalana and Nepenthes ventricosa.
We recommend the following conditions:
Temperature: 50-85 degrees
Light: In a windowsill, provide a few hours of direct sunlight. Greenhouses 50-75% shading. Artificial lighting: 400 PPFD
Watering: 2-3 times per week
Humidity: Some humidity supplement can be beneficial such as a room humidifier or a misting with a spray bottle a couple times a day.
Feeding: 1-2 bugs per pitcher per month. You can also use 1-2 osmocote pellets if bugs give you the creeps!
This product is considered a Intermediate Tropical plant.
